We provide a free and confidential service to sex workers of any gender or sexuality. To be fast-tracked through the service, please advise staff that you are part of the ‘Abbey Road Clinic.’

Sex Workers’ Outreach Project (SWOP)
A confidential and non-judgemental service for women who live or work in Brighton & Hove.
Who this service is for:
- self-identifying women
- non-binary people who work in the sex industry as women
- any woman who sells or exchanges sexual services regardless of immigration status
You are not obliged to give personal details if you contact SWOP for information or advice
What this service offers:
- Advice and information on health, well-being and safer working
- Free condoms and lubricant
- Emotional support if you are feeling isolated
- Support and advice if you have experienced violence, abuse, stalking or harassment (at work or in personal life)
- Information on sex work, the law and your rights
- Support and advice if you or someone close to you are worried about use of drugs or alcohol
- Referrals & signposting to other services (physical or mental health, money advice, housing, immigration and peer support)
SWOP can also offer more in-depth support: this includes longer term 1:1 support, outreach and advocacy, if you are in a situation that you are not happy with and would like to make changes.

PRO(TECT)
PRO(TECT) is a sex workers outreach project for men in Brighton & Hove
PRO(TECT) is Terrence Higgins Trust’s confidential tailor-made service dedicated to men and anyone who identifies as male living or working within Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas. The comprehensive one-stop service provides:
- Rapid HIV and syphilis testing at 61 Ship Street with results in 20 minutes
- Fast track access to SHAC services for a full sexual health screen with no appointment necessary
- Free and bespoke safer sex resources which can be delivered to your door
- A confidential space to talk about any issues which are affecting you through our Face2Face service
- Free alerts to your phone about local punters who should be avoided
- Connecting you to other local services
